Emma Stats

Well, now that she's one, it's about time to post her stats from 1/10/11.

Weight: 8 lbs 7 oz (the biggest of the four at birth)
Height: 20.5 in
Head circ: 34.5 cm

And at her 1 year check up

Weight: 17lbs 2oz (2% and more importantly back on the chart!!!)
Height: 28 in (17 %)
Head Circ: 46.5cm (86%)

On her Jan 10, 2011 I called Randy to come home at 4pm. She was born at 5:48.

Emma has set family records for most hair as a baby (and they all had hair), most comparisons to a porcelain doll, and pooping for distance.

She has four full teeth right now and 3 more that have broken through. Her tricks include clapping, waving, "so big", "Oh No", and imitating everyone elses burps. She obviously has some Moynes in her.

Artwork

Andrew interrupted his constant stream of Angry Birds drawings

to make this picture of the snowball fight game from wii fit

While his pictures have not ventured far from the realm of video game his writing is really improving. This month there is a restaurant in the green center and Andrew wrote this customers order without any help.

My blogging skills have not improved enough to figure out how to rotate that picture.

More pictures?

So last night I posted from the iPad. Maybe I can post pictures from the desktop computer tonight?
Katie learned to ride a bike this summer...
Andrew couldn't ride without training wheels when this picture was taken, but he learned this fall. It was much less painful than teaching Katie.
Mary liked this trike, but her big accomplishment of the summer was learning to swim. At three she could doggie paddle the length of a 25-meter pool. Maybe next summer she can swim and put her face in the water at the same time.
Emma is bigger, blonder, and long outgrown that boppy seat. She's cruising now.
So all these pictures are from August. I need Randy to move some files around to get more recent pictures. Dad, feel free to post a comment asking Randy about more pictures. The comments are emailed to him.

Success

But only because randy did it for me

New

This is the first time I have put a picture up on the blog even if it's not one of my own (thanks, N). If I am even successful. Trying something new for the new year. Hopefully there will be more posts this year. And hopefully we will get back to Acadia again. We hiked around Jordan pond in June in the pouring rain. My sister had nicer weather in the fall.
