Sick

Well, Katie was sick last week (as were most of her classmates) and she seems to have passed it on to me. I'm feeling better today but I'm still working from home.

Snow

Katie does not like snow. If you set her down in the snow she is paralyzed by fear. She refuses to move and starts to cry. She'll walk all around the nice solid ground in the garage, but if you try entice her out onto the snow covered driveway by tempting her with her favorite bag (which is the envy of all the other kids in her day care room) she refuses to take a step but will put out her hands and ask for the bag. Nevertheless, between the screams we got some pictures of her in the snow. Maybe R could post them.

Finally

Ok, if this works, I guess I can post now.

It took me a while to decide what name to use. I ususally use ElizTwelve online. Twelve is such a good number. I miss Jacobs so much I thought about that too. Jacobs is such a good name. But Elizabeth is a good name too, so I'll go with that for now.

Yet another new blog

I've switched to using Blogger. Elizabeth should have an account soon which hopefully will mean more frequent updates.

15 Months

Katie had her 15-month appointment today. Here are the vital stats:

weight: 18 lbs. 8 oz. (5%)
height: 30 in. (30%)
head: 45.5 cm. (45%)

She wasn't happy about the 4 shots in the arm but she recovered quickly.
