Now that you have a new car, I get this one right?

New Minivan

Well, Elizabeth is all set to become a soccer mom now. We have a minivan. With one child and one on the way (if you didn't know about that, well, you do now) we decided it was time. The lady who pulled out of her driveway and into Elizabeth as she was taking her dad to the airport accelerated the new car purchase. At least this way we'll have the new car to make the trip to CT for Memorial Day.

The Cavalier was towed somewhere and we are waiting for the insurance companies to do their thing. If the car is totaled, which might be, we'll probably get more in insurance money than we would have as a trade-in. I'll try to get some pictures of the damage for the website.

Enough about cars. I'm going to go post a new picture of Katie now.

Big update

Well, it has been a month since I last updated. It has also been about that long since I've pulled images and videos off of my camera. So, I've posted a bunch of pictures and some new movies that cover most of the past month.

The Backyard
Well, the contractors finally finished the backyard project. The last big step was removing the tree. As you can see from the pictures, it took some heavy equipment. It also provided hours of entertainment for the boys next door. After a few weeks of watering we now have some grass growing. I'll try to get some pictures of that up soon (this month).

Carnival
Katie got to see Hoss at the Kiltie Band concert. I did not attend since I was in Maryland on business. On Saturday we went to the buggy races. Kate sat with Gage and watched those silly people push those tubes on wheels up a big hill. The weather was great which was a big change over previous years.

Swings
Katie has been to the park a few times now and really seems to enjoy the swings. If you ask her what a swing says, she says "Wheeee!". I know, swings don't really say anything but it's close enough for me. Her enjoyment of the swings has us shopping around for a swingset for our new backyard. We've seen a few that we like, now we just have to decide what we want. Given our track record, Katie will have outgrown the swings by the time we make that decision.

New Car
Yes, the Warner family has a new car. Well, Katie does anyway. The weather hasn't been nice enough recently to spend much time using the car but hopefully that will change in the near future.

Beads
We visited the Moynes family in Annapolis recently and Marybeth has colorful beads hanging in her doorway. Katie could not get enough of those beads. She would say "Beads!!" and the proceed to grab them and swing them around. I've included some video which should give you a much better picture of what I'm talking about.
